An old man came to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and little grandson. His physical condition was not very good. His hand trembled and eye sight was weak and his step faltered. The family used to eat dinner together at the table. But the old man shaky hands and weak eye sight made it difficult for him to eat properly and his food often fell off his spoon on to the floor. When he drank milk, it got spilled on the table cloth.

Both his son, and wife, got irritated because of this mess. "We must do something about him. We have had enough of this noisy eating and food on the floor".

From then on, Grandfather had to eat alone in his room while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner at the table. His food was served in wooden bowl as he had broken one or two dish. His eyes got filled with tears whenever family glanced in his direction as he sat alone.
The Little four year old kid watched it all in silence.

One evening the little boy was playing with some wood scraps. His father noticed and sweetly asked him "What are you doing son?"
Just as sweetly, the boy responded, "Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up", the four-year-old smiled and went back to work.

These words struck the parents and they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no words were spoken, both knew what must be done.
That same evening the husband took his father's hand and slowly led him to the table for dinner. For the rest of his life the old man enjoyed his dinner with rest of the family at the dinner table. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

Moral: You will reap what you sow. Regardless of your relationship with your Parents, You will miss them when they're gone from your life.
